TGIF

Friday at our house means, my husband gets to cook or we go out for dinner, kids get to play the Wi if they had good behaviour during the week. Grownups get to watch movie in bed. We all sleep in the morning and we either make pancakes or crepes. This weekend it is supposed to rain , so we will be ]spending most of the day indoors. I wish all of you gorgeous ladies a wonderful weekend.

Lazy Thursday

Woke up to a cold morning, wish I could stay in bed, but had to get kids ready for the bus. So far it has been a lazy morning, played around with beads, ate my breakfast , talked with my mom on the phone. Now I am heading off to school to show the dance to the students and hopefully they will pick it up quickly so I can head back to babysit Jisse. I am planning to make a nice rice dish for dinner.

What I am working on .

Today I am just playing around with pearls, and wire wrapping, I need to come up with necklace and earrings for 2 weddings, both in the Caribbean. Will try to come up with some more samples later.

I have this song on my ipod that goes something like this "so happy being me"..... this is how I feel when I look at this picture. I am smiling in the second one cause my 7 year old kept saying "you look great mom", "another pretty picture mom". He was so patient for me to finish taking them. Over and over he repeated nice comments, he is such a sweet boy. Whenever he sees me with a bag he will ask me if that is a Marc Jacobs bag.

Weather in Georgia today was less warmer which was nice, I had a very busy day though, I had to come up with a choreography for your'e never fully dressed without a smile (Annie Musical for school) then did some translations. Right now I am going to watch some American Idol. Have a great night.

Jaune et Marine

Hey ladies, it another warm day in Georgia, it is going to be 81. It sure feels more like summer. Getting up this morning went much more easier that yesterday. Got the kids on the bus on time YES. Today I had to bring a fruit platter for the ladies study group , I did not manage to finish my homework though, I will have to catch up on it later. I just got back from lunch, me and my neighbor Julie who is a new mom and baby Ella went to Panera.
Right now I am just chilling , I need to leave in 20 minutes to volunteer as a translator at my kids school, this week we have conferences. Tonight I will be cooking a big batch of pasta sauce so we can have leftovers for tomorrow , cause Wednesdays is one of the busiest day of the week for us with baseball and ballet practice and of course church.

Hi ladies, how was your weekend? We had a awesome weekend, date night on Saturday and family day on Sunday with a stop at Rita for some delicious custard. We tried the comet trail for the first time yesterday, the weather in Georgia was really nice. So we decided to try the comet trail, my husband went for a run and I took the kids on a bike ride, after 8 miles they were pretty tired . I am sure we will be back pretty soon. They were so tired that by the time I tuck them in they were gone to sleepy land in less than 10 minutes. Me and my husband ended up watching Australia in bed. It was not such a good idea (don't get me wrong really great movie) to watch a movie so long though, this morning we had a hard time getting up. I did manage to go to my Zumba class though.

I wish I wore this today, actually I wore all white today but by the time I remembered to take a picture it was already late, but instead I am posting something I put together on polyvore just an hour ago. Hope you like it. Have a great evening.

Saturdate night

Yesterday was date night, as always I get very excited that me and my husband get to go out and have some grown up time without the kids. Our friend Martje got to watch the kids for us this time. If you know us, we normally never planned where we are going. We were thinking that morning to maybe tried out Eros which is a tapas place or Rice who is a Thai Restaurant in Roswell. But after looking in the Atlanta Magazine I came across Cuerno who is famous for their tapas and Paella . We decided to give it a try . I had a really nice Sparkling Sangria and my husband tried one of their Spanish wines, we opted to stick only to the tapas. Their tuna tartar was awesome and also worth a try is their cured ham, oooh not to forget their goat cheese fondue really delicioso well everything is worth a try.After our dinner we went for a walk around the block to look at all those beautiful old houses this reminds me of the time I used to live downtown Amsterdam. After our little stroll we stopped for some nice chocolate dessert. I am already looking forward to our next date. Thanks to Diego from Marc Jacobs for sending me this beautiful Mark Jacobs cherry patent clutch I'm sporting tonight.
