What I made: Shades of Pink!

I have a friend , someone I used to work with when living in the Caribbean. She has been battling cancer for a year now and she is almost done or maybe done with chemo by the time this post goes live, and I wanted to surprise her with a bracelet.
I handpicked different shades of pink for this bracelet and used sterling silver spacers and added a toggle clasp.

My wish is that every time she wears it , it brings her a smile and for her to never forget how courageous and brave she has been through all this order.

Ever since I was a child I was the entertainer at my house I remember standing in front of the TV, and putting a show of impersonations for my parents, siblings, cousins and auntie. Over all I like making others smile, not too much that they pee in their pants though. I got my friend Joyce laughing till she was rolling ont he floor. Happy Thanksgiving!

Since I moved to the United States I have been celebrating Thanksgiving every year, I remember the first year with a 9 month old child at the table with one big turkey that lasted us for days. This year we celebrated it with the family and our friends. I am thankful that my mom got to spent Thanksgiving with us for the first time, I am thankful for family, for health, for friends near and far, for life, for a roof on my head, for freedom as a woman, for my etsy shop and for new opportunities.

What I wore: Mountain atire.

Nothing special, just leggings and a sweater and boot that's all you need when being away in the Mountains, I kept everything simple, when the chilly winds hit I wore a scarf to keep my neck warm. Now that I am back to reality , got home this afternoon went grocery shopping got everything covered for tomorrows Thanksgiving dinner.

Days to Relax!

With this one week vacay we have plenty days to just relax. We are somewhere in the mountains near Blueridge Georgia. It was a long drive but nice views of the country side made it all worthed. Yesterday I made a yummy dinner, we were glad we did the grocery shopping back home cause the nearest Supermarket is 30 minutes away. Today we took a ride down town where we ate lunch and bought Christmas Ornaments, Old Candy meaning from back in the days, fudge and of stuff for the barbecue.

What I made: Crochet without a pattern.

Sometimes I have no pattern well actually I do not know how to read a pattern for crocheting, I bought a book but have no clue, maybe I need to read it slow and let it sink in.
I have just finished these two scarves and I am very happy how they both  came out. Now Mr. Cold should appear so I can put them to use.
