I am pretty sure I mostly wore shorts this Summer, it was very hot even in Europe during my vacay. Well today it felt like Fall is approaching, so it's time to say good bye to shorts, and welcome back to tights, boots, leggings, skinny jeans, jackets, cardigan and scarfs. I am looking forward to play around with what I have. \
I have learned a valuable lesson today at my little one's taekwondo belt, during the board breaking there was a boy that struggled to break his and he stood there, in tears and every time he tried he could not break it , with my eyes full of tears I felt really sad inside for him, I know he must have felt the pressured the whole class and all the parents were quiet that you could hear a pin drop, all the eyes were on him. He continued and broke the board after a while.......... He never gave up! So this is a reminder that whenever I am at that kinda moment in my life I need to just keep going and never give up even it it takes time, weeks or months , sweat, pain and some tears.
Here are some of the pictures I took of my shorts.
Have an awesome weekend.

Thursday: Vintage blouse paired with shorts.
I stumbled upon this ascot style blouse in a vintage store, and had to buy. This blouse reminds me of my mom, I remember that as a child she would go to parties and she would wear these beautiful tops. I had my head already planned in wearing it with jeans and jacket but the weather has been so nice that I decided to pair it with shorts. How is your Thursday so far??? Mine has been a relaxing one, not a lot to do today. Have a great evening, I am not cooking tonight, I am taking my daughter out for sushi.
Have a great night guys,

Bright Red with Black Lace!
Like I said before I love shorts, when it's summer you will always find me in shorts or skirts I kinda like showing off my Zumba legs:) ..... just kidding. I have worn this short many times and styled it many ways, yesterday I wore it with a cute lace top I had hanging somewhere in the closet between the blacks and greys. I organize my closet by color and season. I had to wear wedges cause my other shoes were making it difficult to walk with out saying ouch ouch the whole time. I think might toe is definitely broken cause it has been a week now and it's still hurting me. Happy Hump Day guys, 2 more days and it's Friday!
These are some of the poses I do when it's me , the camera and my timer.

Colorful!
I will start off with this question who came up with the rule of not wearing white after Labor Day?. I grew up on a island where I wore white whenever I wanted. So I am saying I am not done wearing whites, when it gets colder I will put them whites away. This is what I wore yesterday I tend to wear a lot of shorts, and I love when I can just add a nice blouse and dress it up some. I went out for sushi , then stayed home and made dinner, cause Monday's dinner has to be ready early cause the kids have soccer, piano , ballet and jazz and I like for things to run smooth in this household., so I always plan on prepping dinner early. Did you get to watch Miss Universe yesterday evening, I am so happy the one I picked out was the winner , isn't she gorgeous?? I hope your day is off to a great start, I am staying a bit longer in bed this morning, feeling lazy:)

What's cooking?
Some days you'll find me craving yummy food , I ike making different dishes and not always cook the same old same. Yesterday I was in the mood for a rice dish and a nice salad. I found the recipe for the aroz Latino on Depertar America a tv show on Telemundo, I grilled filet mignon and placed it on a bed of rice that has plantains, red bell peppers, garlic, onion, cilantro, you can either add chopped chicken, pork or bacon I made mine with pancetta.
For the Salad I sliced the apples and layer them with arugula , walnuts and crumbled blue cheese . I sprinkled it with some balsamic Vinaigrette , really easy quick dish the kids love it.

Never Forget: I believe A 9/11 Tribute.
I can't believe that it is already 10 years, I remember exactly where I was. My little baby boy was only 3 and half weeks old. The only American in our family. It was his feeding time and my mom just brought him to me and a plate of sliced apples. I remember seeing it live on TV, fear, pain and sadness came over me and stayed with me for a couple of months I landed into what the Dr. called a depression. I will never forget, even though I am not an American I love this Country and called it my Home.
