Fun Saturday

Today was a busy day filled with lots of fun stuff. The rain and the thunderstorms did not keep us home. My husband had to go get his chip for his half marathon so we went with him to the Georgia Dome where they had also a sport exhibition where you could try new stuff , buy stuff and even taste peanut butter sweetened with agave.

Afterwards we went to the Fernbank Museum to see the Dinosaur exhibit , and as you can see I started taking pictures till my husband pointed out to me that I am not allowed too take pictures, oopsie. We saw a interesting movie at the Imax theatre about dinosaurs, the pictures tell a story for them self, the kids had fun and so did us as we watched them trying things out , even petting a snake.
We left after 2 hours or so and were very hungry cause we did not have lunch so we were looking for a place called Warung Corner that has Indonesian food but could not find it, so we went to Batavia. Here are some of the foods we ate, our son is allergic to peanuts, fish and eggs so he ate just spicy chicken with rice, we had the satay and the peanut sauce, gado gado, kroepoek (shrimp crackers), curry chicken and bami goreng shrimp. We even met a guy from Curacao who is the neighbor island where I grew up so he speaks the same language as me. It is a small world after all. Have a fabulous Saturday. I am getting ready to bed cause tomorow it's a early start cause my husband is running the race and we want to be there to cheer for him. Yeaah!!!

Buon Venerdì

Happy Friday ladies. This morning I went on a field trip with my son and a bunch of 2nd graders. We went to the Museum of Natural History. We had a tour and learned a lot on Native Americans. It seems like I am always volunteering or you can find me on some kind of a field trip these days. (Someone called me the field trip queen this morning) To me it is a way to keep myself busy, cause I am a stay at home mom and also to experience this special time with both of my children, cause if you go to one with one, you need to do the same with the other one. I am always tired at the end of the field trip, let me tell you I have so much admiration for teachers I love volunteering but I am always glad when I am done cause it means I can go home, have a cup of tea , catch up on face book or read a blog or two. Where does these kids get their energy from?.

I have so many things planned this weekend, Saturday if it does not rain I will be cheering for my son and his team mates at their baseball game. Sunday my other half is running the half Marathon and I am so excited for him, this is his first, so me and the kids and a friend are going to cheer him. Sunday afternoon I am hoping to make it to my friends son's birthday party she has invited us every year for the past 6 years and I had always something else, so I am really crossing my fingers this time.

Other than these things, it says here on my to do list , finish necklace for a competition, take time to relax, watch movies with hubby, play games with the kids , and maybe start on painting the kids bathroom.
I hope you guys have a great weekend.
Ciao,

Farrielle

Torrential Thursday

`

It has been raining since yesterday no fun at all. I gave some awards this morning to some cool blogs , check previous post. This morning I took it easy, went to return something at Target, I applaud myself for that cause I normally never return anything. I got some cool beads at bead hive, my intention is to make something for a soon to come giveaway.
Right now I am waiting to babysit a one year old. Going to change into something more toddler proof.
Have a great day.

Wet Wednesday

Woke up to a rainy day not really happy about it but what can I do? I made myself a nice quick breakfast, and hoped that some where and somehow the sun might peek out and say hi. I went on a field trip with the drama club at my daughters school this morning. We went to see Class of 3000 at the Woodruff Arts Center. I was in charge of 4 girls including my daughter. Girls are so nice, very easy no complaints here.

We got to buy lunch from a food court nearby. After our lunch we went to see The First Emperor Terracotta Army, if you have not seen this awesome exhibit please try to go, it is just amazing I have no words other than just Awesome. I have been twice and I sooo love it.

Benvenuti primavera

Greetings fellow lovers of fashion, hope you all had a nice weekend. We have been having such nice weather here in Georgia. Monday is my busiest cause then I have to figure out what's for dinner cause my husband cooks in the weekend and I tend to get lazy after not having to cook for 3 days. I asked my daughter to take some pictures of me outside, I am still trying to figure out the camera my husband got me, the Rebel XTi. I know it has lots of cool features that I still have to discover, but for now I am reading the book and just experimenting with it and maybe later I will make myself sit and watch the dvd. Today I am wearing;
Jeans: Banana Republic
Shoes: Steve Madden
Jacket: Kenneth Cole
Belt:?
Watch: Fossil
Earrings: handmade
Necklace: handmade (focus bead Kazuri)

Have a Marvelous Monday.

Ciao,
