I am in love with this knit Hat!

A beautiful day!

What a gorgeous day in Georgia, me and my friend took advantage of this sunny day to take some pictures. She is the one who takes my pictures, when I do not want to carry all my camera stuff and a timer. I am in love with the foliage,the berries this time of the year.
I don't have a lot planned for this weekend, I am going to make some new jewelry, catch up on reading and run a couple of miles. I wish you a great weekend.

What's cooking? Spicy Meatballs in a sweet and sour prune/cranberry sauce!

Sometimes I get inspired by recipes in weird places, like yesterday I am driving and suddenly I thought of meatballs. I decided to make meatballs, but spice them up with cayenne peppers, black peppers, cumin, coriander and a mix of  Latin spices. I wanted a dipping sauce for them so I decided to throw prunes and cranberries and little bit of apple vinegar, with some tapatio sauce together and somehow a  yummy sauce was born. I added a small green salad, sauteed green beans with caramelized onions and voila dinner was ready and the kids even liked it too.

Sometimes we need to be reminded!

Burnt Sienna and Jeans

Taking it easy today. Outside is cold and windy inside I am keeping myself warm with a cup of hot tea while making dinner. I bought this top a couple of weeks ago at Old Navy, the jeans is an oldie that I still manage to keep around. As you can see I went a bit crazy with pictures today, it's cause I am happy... I love jeans. How is your day so far???

What I wore: stripes in black and white.

I wore this yesterday I had to run some errands including taking care of my car. I went in for an oil change, but ended up having my car staying overnight cause something wasn't right after I drove back home, so I decided to return for them to look at the car again.

I heard that some much cooler weather is coming in, so I guess I can say bye bye to my sleeveless top and linen skirts and open toe shoes for now cause in Georgia you never know things might warm up again very soon. Don't forget to enter my giveway here.

What's cooking?? Mexican Beef Stew!

Whenever I am downstairs I have the cooking channel on in the background, well I have it on when I am making jewelry or doing any craft project. The other day this recipe caught my eye,  Mexican Beef Stew I had to try it. Well all I can say mission accomplished, the kids like it they thought that it wasn't that spicy.
This recipe had a lot of unusual ingredients like honey, Mexican Beer, 6 ancho chiles (I used 3 instead) and unsweetened cocoa ( I used raw cocoa instead) . I added some tortilla strips, some corn and bean salad, a little lime and cilantro when I plated it. If you are in the mood for some comfort food, try this one out.

Feels like Summer , but the leaves tell me a different story.

The weather has been hot for a couple of days, if the leaves were not turning in those beautiful colors, I could have been fooled that it's still Summer. I wanted to wear boots, but I had to stick with open toe sandals, a tank top and skirt. Well at least the skirt has a Fall vibe to it. I found this when I stumbled upon a new Thrift store, for under $5 dollars I took it with me and it had still a tag on it, lucky me.
Have a Terrific Tuesday guys, hopefully a little bit of chill will kick in very soon for me to wear tights and boots:)
