Sticking with Black and Grey.

This morning after my youngest one got on the bus, I decided to go run some errands . My daughter is on a weekend retreat . After she is back I will fill you in who's house it was.... oooh " did I mention that I was shopping for her?  I stopped at Kohl's,  Michael's, then TJ Maxx, after that I went to my house to dropped things and switch car.  My friend J. wanted to drive this time. We went to Walmart, lunch , then Ikea after that stop at the grocery store cause my husband was coming home from a trip  and the fridge was kinda empty I needed to stock on salad, fruit and veggies.

I Helped my daughter with packing , dropped her off , then I had to be at my son's belt graduation after that dinner with family and friends. In the middle of all these things I knew I had to take pictures but completely forgot about it. My friend J snapped 3 pictures,  before we got seats at the restaurant. She took 3 , only two made it today. The other one was not so fabulous, I realized that I was standing next to trash bags. .

I am in a comfort zone today, I am sticking to basic black top with grey scarf which has become my fave of the moment and skinny jeans simple but still okay don't you think???
Right now I am happy to be laying comfortably in my bed this was one busy day.  Have a great weekend  guys.

It's my birthday!

I woke up this morning to the sound of ... my husband singing Happy Birthday to me. The kids followed with their cards and well wishes. My youngest one said: "Mom I got all dressed up and ready for school by myself so you can lay a bit longer in bed this is your first present". Your second one will be here in the afternoon.
My friend Joyce made me an dutch apple pie brought me a photography book and little fashionista ornament.  I feel so blessed. I am thankful  for life,  my family and friends.
I was a bit concern that the skirt would be a bit too short, but my husband assured me that it was fine cause I had tights under it. I wore a jacket in the morning but later on it got way too hot, so the jacket had to go back in the closet.

bracelets: ? , Macy's and yesterday I got the silver cuff.

I think my favorite color might be black.

Yes black is one of my favorite colors, I have a huge space devoted to all my black outfits. When I go shopping I always reach out for black and I tend to wear a lot of black during winter.

The color black is considered as a conservative color, goes well with other colors and  is visually slimming. The color black can also be very sexy, elegant and chic.
Today I am wearing my 3th outfit for the 30 for 30 challenge, still feeling good about it. I have to confess I did buy a cuff today but I had this outing with friends already planned and it was for a good cause, (only happens once a year) a percentage of the sales goes to cure cancer in children.

A touch of deep purple.

Early rise this morning for me, beautiful cool but sunny morning. I had to bring the youngest one to his yearly checkup at the pediatrician. I decided to wear a trench coat cause it was cold in the morning, but the weatherman promised lots of sunshine and 70 degrees for an high in the afternoon.
I guess I won't be needing the jacket later on. I am wearing a eggplant or let's called it deep purple colored top and underneath it I have a grey camisole I wear these always  in the fall and winter so I do not catch a cold, yes it sounds silly but that's is what I believe. The top was simple so to spice it up I am wearing a statement necklace....... I think I got that one for $2 at F21, so cheap that I had to take it with me.

I have to say it is hard for me to when I am driving pass by the department stores and not stop and buy something, I know I promise I won't do so for this 30/30 challenge, I am trying to be very strong. I can do this. Only 28 outfits to go:)

30/30 Challenge outfit #1 Sunny Monday.

Here we go 1 down 29 more to go. Today's outfit was a very easy pick.  I wore this to my daughters school I had to drop off a paper she forgot in the printing machine, then decided to have breakfast with my friend J at the Aussie bakery.

My 30 for 30 challenge: Let the remix begin!

Kendi is doing her 30 for 30 challenge, and after a bit of thinkign I have decided to do this challenge too. Let me start by saying I had fun picking out clothes,  trying them out and putting things together. After many thinking here is my list.
In the picture I have 29 stuff I still have to decide on nr. 30!. I know it might be hard to not shop for 30 days but I believe I can do this. Please join me on this journey where I will try to come up with outfits by remixing things from my list!.
