Black and sequins

Feeling much better on this gorgeous and sunny Friday.
Had to run some errands and had to get my eyebrows done.
Not a lot to say today , I am happy it's Friday I get to snuggle in my bed and watch a movie with the hubby.

Winter White Pants.

This tweed jacket has been for 4 years in my closet every fall and winter I get to use it again. I love that it has like a masculine look to it, I paired it with these flare winter white corduroy pants to give the look a bit more feminine chicness to it. The chest cold is still lingering in my body,  so a scarf to keep my neck warm is always a must.  The purse is an old I think I got it on a trip to Disney we stopped at a Outlet Mall,  I believe that it looks so much nicer with the the years. This bag has seen many places if it could tell a story it would be a chapter book.

I am still battling a chest cold so today no outfit cause right now  I am in a black training pants with an over sized grey hoodie sweater and mismatched blue socks. This is a look you do not want to see cause you might injure yourself. As I told you already I got an Canon EOS 7D as a gift from my wonderful hubby and now that I have to stay inside and rest I decided to take pictures of some of the jewelry I have in my closet.
The silver and black ones I use them a lot in the winter to compliment my dark clothes, the colorful and browns gets more use in the summer time.  I tend to use silver through out the year too.

I buy things that catches my eye, if it is expensive I tend to wait till it goes on sale but if there is only one sometimes I will go ahead and buy it. Most of my jewelry I find at Macy's , F21, The Limited and New York. When I travel I try to bring something handmade from that place I visited just as a reminder of the special time I had. Now that I make my own jewelry I tend to wait till I'm going out to make something that will be appropriate for that evening.
I tend to use a necklace sometimes as a bracelet.... lucky me for having such tiny wrist or a belt as a necklace. I will also look for pieces that are timeless that I can use again and again untill I pass them unto my daughter.

Me and my friend Joyce wear black most of the time in the winter. I love that the color  black is elegant, slimming and you can pair it with almost anything and still look chic.
This is what we wore. I am fighting a cold but I do not think you will noticed that,I have been drinking lots of green tea with fresh lemon, ginger and pomegranate, I prefer natural stuff over medication.
It's a gorgeous day here in Georgia, blue sky and a warm Sun, I hope your day is treating you well.

My newest camera or may I say my newest baby?

My husband surprised my by getting me a Canon 7D, I wasn't supposed to get this till Valentine's day but the UPS Guy told me I had to sign and then he said I think it is camera. I nodded nooo I don't think so , so when he left I decided to open the package and indeed there was my little baby eyeing me back. I am so happy with it and still getting used to it there is so much to learn about this camera. For now I leave you with some pictures I snapped yesterday , it was such a gorgeous day in Georgia.
