Like a Painting!

Oh what a beautiful Saturday, blue skies, sun is shinning, the choir of birds outside my bedroom are singing a happy tune. I must confess I woke up at 10.30 this morning, lazy me.... so I did not get to go the Farmer Market on the Square booooh yes I was looking forward to King of Pops, chocolate salt pop is one of  my favorites.   I think I will need to put something else one if I want to go outside weather bug says right now is 63 a little bit chilly for my legs. Speaking of my legs they are hurting so bad, I think I went way to hard on myself yesterday in the TRX class. Thank God for 2 days of rest.  The blouse I'm wearing is like a painting so colorful, I bought this one at TJMaxx or Marshall's I can't recall, but it was because I tend to buy black , grey and white too much I decided to go with some color, and the pink shorts, yes these are my second one, I got them yesterday at H&M a treat to myself. Today I have nothing planned really, sorry for the mess on the couch someone from Brazil ordered them to be sent to our house as he is coming to visit today and will take all those stuff with him back.....pffff I am glad. I hope your Saturday has started on the right path for you wherever you might be. On may to make some late breakfast.....

To the Gym To the Gym I go.

 I woke up at 9 and fixed a necklace for a friend and finish just in time for the Gym. People always ask if I have been this active my whole life, so far I can remember yes. On the island as a child I would run outside bare feet with my 3 brothers playing soccer or volleyball, or chasing each other. I used to run  while in High school with school friends and neighbors, when I had my children I would go for long walks and also hit the gym. Right now I am at my most active, with free time on my hands I get to run, walk , Zumba, just dance while cooking,  do weights and TRX. The next thing I am going to try will be a Yoga class.

Exercise makes me happy and it does good to my body. I have changed my way of eating, I have added more veggies and salad, less pasta , rice and potatoes. I do juicing in the morning but I still will have to eat like a slice of wheat bread with something cause  I have seen that juicing alone is not enough for me I tend to get grumpy.  I wish you a wonderful weekend.

What I wore today.

Leather wrap bracelet.

I just made my first leather wrap bracelet happy happy;) I used to eye them online but to pay over $ 100 I decided to try to make one myself.

This made me laugh.

If you know the song somebody I used to know by Gotye you will get it.

Yes I am wearing pink shorts.

I used to dislike the color Pink, but ever since I had my daughter  years ago, she kinda made me fall in love with pink again. This is my first pink shorts, I am moving slow .....towards maybe getting a pink dress in the near future who knows.
I got to go back to TRX class this morning, hard but felt good afterwards to work out all my muscles, I love that class. It's always nice to take time for yourself, by taking a walk, or just hitting the gym. Tonight I am heading out to a Zumba class, but not before I make a yummy pasta dish for the kids and myself. Think asparagus, chicken and a yummy lite creamy Parmesan sauce with fresh herbs from my garden.  I hope your day is treating you well, have a great evening y'all (I sound so Southern)
