Time for a Salad.

A very easy recipe when you do not have time to stand in the kitchen for hours.

I sprinkle lemon juice on my shrimps and then rinse it out and them pat them dry.

You can use whatever marinade you have on hand. I used a mango lime seafood seasoning combined with a little bit of Caribbean Jerk Seasoning and some fresh garlic.

I sauteed them in homemade garlic butter.

I like fruit in my salad for this one I used papaya, cranberries, goyi berries and  I added to that some red onions.

I sprinkle it with balsamic dressing and my dinner was ready in 30 minutes.

How easy was that?

Sometimes I get tired like everybody else, especially during this time I am trying to figure out what to get teachers and staff etc etc. So before I started cooking today I was craving something salty and something sweet.
These are things I bought at Costco the other day .I cut some cheese, a hand full of crackers,  grapes and some almonds.

Weekend Recap!

Things I have done this weekend, sleep.... and sleep a little bit more. Cleaned the house, did the laundry, put the laundry away, baked and baked some more, made a gingerbread house with my little neighbor, went shopping where the people these days are not as nice as they are during the rest of the year. There something about this season that makes people grumpy and bump into you, look at you in a mean way if you are singing falalala lalala or fight for a parking spot....... this is way too  much for me.

Did you know that I always wanted to play the character of Santa or a Reindeer what do you think of my pictures?? I think I can be an awesome Santa.
Are you done with your Christmas shopping?? Well if you are you are ahead of me, I have not started yet wish me good luck cause next week it will be time to shop:)
