Photography: Bokeh

Bokeh is the photography term referring to the way in which the lens renders out-of-focus points of light. You'll want to create a very deep field of depth to get your best photo so set your camera to aperture priority mode Mine is a Canon so I set mine on AV.

Then I set the aperture at the widest that my lens allows mine was at 2.8 to capture the most light. In this setting, your camera sets the ISO and shutter speed automatically for you depending on the lighting conditions in the room you are taking the picture.

Then you can take your object I started trying it out with ornaments, but you can try it out with your pet, kids or friends. Place your object or person a few feet in front of the lighting that you plan to blur. Set your camera to manual focus (MF switch on the lens) so that you can make sure that your intended object is perfectly in focus and snap away!
Good luck!

Off to Cordoba Spain.

I wish I was going to hand deliver this bracelet in Cordoba Spain. I know I would surely would stop somewhere in town to have paella and some sangria maybe some tapas too......but sadly I am not. I am sending it to her new owner. I finished making it and it's on it's way to Spain. I hope it brings her joy as she wears it.

What I wore: Grey Sweater and Leggings!

So yesterday I got to go to the "Klets Koppen"  (Talking Heads) event here in Georgia. So it's all the Dutch ladies getting together at someone house to socialize.  Sometimes there is a theme like this time it was all the yummy treats you buy during the Sint Nick Celebration. I got to make some yummy stuff including these ginger cookies. I was home pretty late and waking up this morning is not something I want to write about it was somehow a bit ugly. Below is what I wore. I hope your day is treating you well, mine is treating me so far so good, it's sunny here. Now I am off to figure out what's for dinner, wish me luck!

These boots are made for walking.

These are the most comfy boots I have ever had, I wore this at home, it was way too cold to go grocery shopping in the rain dressed like this. I am heading right now to the kitchen to whip some pasta for dinner.  Did you guys buy anything on Cyber Monday? I got myself some cool stuff from Ulta, I can't wait. Have a great evening guys.
