DIY Project: Making your own Sugar Scrub.

I try to take good care of my body by eating whole foods and exercising. I love pampering my skin with oils and moisturizer and I love using sugar scrub in the shower because it leaves my skin soft and  moisturized.

I decided to do a DIY for my own sugar scrub, it's so easy that if I can do it you can do it too.

All you need is oil and sugar.

You can use, almond oil, virgin olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil or vitamin Eoil 

I chose Coconut oil 

I choose a granulated sugar , the mixture is 2 parts sugar to 1 part oil. Because the coconut oil is solid at room temperature I melt it using a double boiler prior to mixing.

I added a tea leaves mix I had and added some dried Lavender and voila I used a nice container I found at Ikea to store my scrub in it.

If you could only smell it through the computer screen. 

Now let the good smelling scrubbing begin.

Woke up this morning, and thought I wish I could stay longer in bed. I had to get out to bring my child to the bus so I decided to do some laundry , clean up and throw away all those unwanted flyer's I get in the mail.

Had my juice this morning, went for a Zumba workout, decided to lift some weights since I skipped my TRX workout. Went to stock up on veggies and other necessities.

So here I am all dressed up hair pulled back and  now what! I have to find something to do............

Almost everyone that knows me knows that I love the color black, especially in the winter. So when I saw this trench coat at Kohl's a month ago, I decided to buy it cause it's such a bright happy color.
With the rain outside this color is my private sunshine to get me through this day.

I got new boots (Off Broadway shoes is having a sale entire store is 50% off ) the other day cause the ones that I wore almost every other day said their final goodbye 2 days ago. Dear boots you have been with me through thick and thin, thank you for your service.
