Going for the sleek look

I am getting used to waking up late these mornings. So far it has been around 11 that I wake up, lazy me.
I had a couple of errands to do and my friend J came along  to double the fun.
This is my sleek look of the day. Hair pulled back , black on black always chic, my ultra soft leather jacket, a pair of comfy booties, a big chunky cowl and voila!
I love this look cause it is simple yet chic.

Black Trench Coat

Too bad that the snow we had is already melting and almost gone. So I decided I had to test my new lens so why not take the opportunity to take some pics in the snow. It is not that much so do not make fun of me please. As you can see in the middle the picture I am super cold but I am trying to still let my smile come out.

White Christmas

Since I have lived in Georgia we have never had a white Christmas so we were extremely happy when it started snowing yesterday morning. Later in the afternoon we had friends over till late in the night.
Yesterday was one special day, the snow, the gifts, the friends, cooking together, spending time at the table eating yummy food , recovering in front of the TV, having dessert and tea. The most important of  all these festivities were  remembering  Jesus's birth cause He is the reason for the season.

Christmas Eve or as I know it Noche Buena

At this time normally we are still packing our gifts to put under tree while the kids are sound asleep. But this year we decided to put them early under the tree. The good thing is we had an evening to enjoy dinner out and later on a movie for the whole family. Thanks to the hubby for wrapping everything this time.
Hope you are having a wonderful Christmas Eve wherever you might be.

We just finished planning our Christmas Dinner Menu. Tomorrow I will be cleaning my house, getting the house ready while the hubby will go grocery shopping with our friends for our Christmas dinner. I can't wait to start cooking my Caribbean Style Ham.

I get excited by the most simple of things.

This cowl was on the mannequin in a store where I went shopping with my friend Joyce. When it caught my eye I was immediately in love. It might seem simple to most people but to me it love at first sight.
I had to have it, it was the last one so I waited patiently for someone to help me, to get it off the mannequin and guess what my waiting paid it was on sale I got it for less than $9. Today is one of those days where we stay in bed till late watch a movie, a very sad one though "the pianist".
Had pancakes for brunch and right now I am thinking of lunch.
Hope your Sunday is great.

Wondering where I have been??

I have been recouping from the Jewelry Show I had Saturday, then had to deal with the super cold weather that has been lingering around which made it impossible to take pictures. All I did was stay home in all my not so chic layers.  I hope that tomorrow I am able,  despite the rainy weather forecast to snap some pictures of whatever outfit I might be wearing .

I got almost everything on my daughters list. It is funny how things have changed around here, her list used to be toys, games for the dsi , artsy stuff, ....... but now it's brand name clothes, purses and beauty stuff and some other cool stuff.  I need two more items on her list and I am done. For my sweet little boy , we found everything online and that sure was easy.
Now I am stucked on what to get the hubby, he has everything so far I can think,  I know he been wanting some  of nice expensive kitchen knives, I guess I will have to stop by Williams and Sonoma and see what they have there. How is your Christmas shopping so far???
This is me these days................................not so cute at all!

Yes the look on my face says it all.

Yes that is the look of a "one happy person". I had my jewelry show today, although not every person I invited show up, but the turnout was great. I sold more than I had expected. I want to say thanks to a very special person.... my friend J, she was at my house  and helped me get all the price tags attached to the jewelry. We did not expect that too take so long. I made my own, it sounded so easy when the lady at the Michael's told us how to make them.
J. helped me greet the guest and also was the person taking all the money and putting all their purchases in their cute little bags.

I did it.......30 for 30 challenge it's a wrap!

I can proudly say that I did it. As you can see I am leaving you with my last outfit, feeling like tapping trough this cold day. I have also added nr. 6 and 7 from the time when I was under weather. This was so much fun, I have learned to use what I have and don't go out buy something that I did not needed. What I did in the beginning was that I picked out outfits but decided later to just pick things as I go cause I kinda dress how I am feeling that day. I am mostly amazed that I was creative enough to wear these things over and over and not be bored or have a blue feeling down kinda moment. Thank you Kendie, this was such a fun experience. Tommorow I am bringing you all the outfits I have worn.
