What's cooking???? Steak on the barbie.

I love cooking and taking pictures. I try to combine these two things I love especially when I like to share something on Facebook. Inspiration comes from watching cooking channel and also browsing  cooking books and magazines. Today I grilled  flank steak on the barbie and I made oven roasted potatoes with fresh rosemary from my garden, red cabbage, sauteed mushrooms, zuchinni and carrots. I made a salad with blue cheese crumbles, peaches, walnuts, bacon bits and cranberries.

I wish for Colored jeans.

I have been looking everywhere for colored jeans. in stores and also on the web. I have stumbled upon this super cool site. Buffalo David Bitton carries quite a selection of colored and your basic blue jeans be sure to check them out. I am also in love with the hoodies, the yellow pants and the chambray shirt from Gap.
Yesterday I tried a green one at Kohl's but I still have the color mint in my head. Which color is your favorite?

What cooking? Pasta and a brocoli salad.

Today I was a bit busy running around with the kids and my brother who is visiting me so little time to take pictures of an outfit. I managed to cook a yummy meal though. I had tagliatelle in the pantry, I sauteed chicken and pancetta with some basil and onions, then I made a sauce with heavy cream and a bit of Parmesan sauce and mix this with the chicken. For the broccoli salad I used raw broccoli, cooked bacon pieces a light Vidialia onion dressing and I sprinkle some shredded Cheddar cheese over it. The kids favorite, the broccoli salad! Bye Bye Orange: Holland goes home

What a dissapointment, Holland goes home after losing to Portugal, 2-1.  What a bummer, this is what I wore to see the game. I had big dreams Snijder, tooo bad they didn't come true this time.... maybe next time.
