Things around my house.

I love decorating, while my daughter was a toddler I even took a 2 year course on Interior Decorating, I love changing things a lot meaning, that after a couple of months I tend to move things around. Things you will find around my house are definitely a reminder of where I come from ..... beautiful Caribbean. I live to far from the beach... but when I am at home I feel like I am on vacation cause all these little things reminds me of home..... the island of Bonaire. I have these laying around the house they smell so good.

Lets go back way back in time.

I came across this old picture of my little self. I do not have a lot of pictures from the time I was a baby or toddler how I wish I could see how I was. Back then cameras were very expensive and to own one was a luxury.  I am thankful now that I take pictures of my kids often so they can always look back and share it with their families later on.

Week in Instagram.

These couple of days have been days of laughter and tears, laughter when I get to do fun things with my friend Joyce, tears when I see that the days are getting closer for her to go back to Holland. I made her a picture story book, I took her to the park to present it to her. When I started talking the I might have open the flood gates cause I bursted out in tears and couldn't stop we actually cried a lot that day I think people sitting in the park did not understand that part.
