I am so happy. Lookbook: bridal jewelry

I am really happy that I have finished my sisters bridal jewelry. I know that this has to be God who helped me through this cause with my right hand not being 100 percent I could not have done this without God. I am really thankful.
I can't wait to show you what I made for myself to wear on that special day.

Sorry no outfit post today our youngest one had his birthday party we took him and eleven friends for bowling so just imagine 11 boys and 1 girls for 3 hours.
I am so tired.
I am heading to my comfy bed to watch a movie with my marido.

Exciting News!!!!!!!

I have been asked by Duchess of www.artbeads.com to blog about their products a couple of weeks ago. I am so excited for this opportunity. The first time I heard about artbeads was on trip with my youngest to the pediatrician and she told me that she always gets her beads and findings over there. I did try it out and got chains and silver wire, french hook ear wire etc.

Today I received the most beautiful crystals in the mail and trust me I have been staring at them the whole time.
So for now I leave you with these mouth watering beauties , I am off to think of a new creation.

Shorts and Ruffles.

I am happy it is Friday but at the other hand a bit sad too. It has been 8 years ago when my youngest one was not even one month old when the terror attacks happened . I still remember where I was, nursing my precious little one and decided to watch some news. Little did I know, the events of those days would cause me a couple of months of depression.
I could not comprehend how certain group of people could do something so cowardly.
I do not know anyone personally who lost someone but know that you are in my thoughts.

Wednesday Lookbook: So Happy being me...

That is how I am feeling today, (it also one of my top songs on my ipod) I am happy cause I got everything my brother put on a shopping list. I got everything done today so I can now move on to buying party favors for Saturday's birthday party. I am repeating the same top I got a couple of weeks ago, this top brings me back to my younger years growing up in the Caribbean. You can find hibiscus plants everywhere I mean everywhere. Maybe that is why it is making me feel happy.
Ok gotta go now, the lasagne is in the oven and I am heading out to drop my daughter at her dance class and my son at his first baseball game.

I need help!!! Lookbook bridesmaid dress

Yesterday I found the shoes that will go with the dress I am wearing in less than 2 weeks for my sisters wedding.
Me and my other sister are wearing exactly the same dress, and the other bridesmaids are wearing a champagne color. The colors of the wedding are champagne, chocolate brown and orange (not the color of halloween) . What I need help is what kinda jewelry would one wear with this dress. I want to make my own, I have a idea how I would like it to be , but I would love to know how you would wear it.
I know the flowers that I am holding are orange roses. Friday I am bringing the dress to get it altered cause its kinda big on me thats why my hand is kinda in the back holding it together :)

Bangles and more Bangles.

Hey there ladies, please excuse me for not having a picture of an outfit today. I actually had two outfits today. One in the morning for an appointment with my hand surgeon, and then later for shopping.
I went shoe shopping today and scored a nice Liz Claiborne pair that I will wear with my bridesmaids dress. I will try to take pictures tomorrow.
This is a picture of the collection of bangles that I collected over the years. These are my favorites and more used ones.

Labor day outing

Happy Labor day.

What I am wearing today: Navy with Khaki jacket

This is what I am wearing today, went to Rock and Roll church this morning with our friends.They call it that way cause the worship is kinda rockish. Loud and cool.
Had lunch at the Mellow Mushroom and now debating if we should hit the pool or not , see the sun is kinda hiding right now and what's the purpose to go to the pool if it is cold and no sun. Well after I took a break and went to the pool the sun did come out, and my hubby invited some friends to come over for dinner, he is making homemade french fries. I gotta go now get things ready if you know me by now my other name is miss perfect, I like for everything to be set before the guest arrive and this is was just spur of the moment, "do you guys want to come over for dinner"?.
I really need to go bye now.
