Friday Creativity: Rings

Today was another soaked day here Georgia. I had plans with my neighbor to take trip to DSW, in search for some boots for her (wish it was for me) but at this time I do not need another pair... .......or do I ? Since she is wasn't feeling good I decided to just try a couple of new things, like making a birds nest ring, and a pair of clip on earrings, and 3 adjustable rings. The adjustable rings and the white cabuchon I ordered  them on Artbeads I had to try out different types of beads, and other stuff before they came out the way I wanted. I am very happy with the end result,  this is my first time making rings.What do you think???

Thursday Look: Purple Cardi and Jeans

Hi there, greetings from a soaked Georgia, it has been raining pretty much the whole day. When it rains like this,  I kinda get in a mood of not wanting to do  anything not even fix dinner just lay on the couch with either a book or just watch HGTV or the Foodnetwork the whole day. But that did not happen.

This is what I am wearing right now. For lunch I wore the same top  but with skinny jeans, my favorite kinda jeans these days tucked in boots.
Here in this picture I am wearing: Wide leg trouser jeans  by Kenneth Cole, Cardi Simply by Vera Wang, tank top bought at TJMaxx, pearl bracelet (my first class in hand knotting pearls), shoes Steven Madden.

I made this porkloin in the oven for dinner, it was yummy even the kids ate everything.

Wednesday Bday!!!

Wow the years have passed so fast, I remember it was 12 years ago when I became a mom of a cute baby girl all the way in Amsterdam on a snowy day , that was the day my mom saw snow for the first time, I remember in all my pain I turned to her and said " Mom look it is snowing" and the kept on breathing for the pain to go away. It did after 19 hours:)
She has been a blessing to our family, she has beautiful heart, loves putting unique styles of clothes together, creative, makes us tear up when she dances it is just gorgeous , kind, caring and a loving sister to her little brother, I am totally thankful to God for an awesome daughter. Happy Birthday sweet heart, I love you.
I had to brag about her she deserve it.

Tuesday: Bright red arm candy

Sometimes just a little bit of red will make such a big impression. Like this bag it shines even more against the dark colors I am wearing . I love this bag even though I only take it with me on special occasion, it is the Marc Jacobs Klein Patchwork Tote in Cherry tart. A year ago I won it with one of my looks on Lucky Style Spotter I think it was the first time I won something then. Here I am wearing a black tunic, my trench coat from INC, I think one of my favorite pieces in my closet, it is elegant on its own takes me from day to night, very versatile piece and keeps me warm during cold days.

If you look closely you will see that I am wearing a piece of fabric just thrown over my tunic, in a charcoal grey color I got this fabric today and I am planning to make something out of it, I do not know yet what but I thought I should just wear for the picture, I think it actually looks very cool like this for the moment.

Monday's Lookbook: Bright pink!

Just a bit of bright pink adds a special touch to a gray and black ensemble.

These tights are a shocking bright pink, may seems red in the picture but not, I have bought them last year on sale at Marshall's they are from Nine West and I might have paid under $6 for them. One good thing I did and that I am proud of is that I have not spend any money on clothes for the month of January, I did not need anything. One thing that helped me was to not go out just to browse because I always end up buying everything seems so tempting then, instead I kinda injected all my energy in organizing the kids bedroom, my workspace and jewelry.

I am wearing: trench coat INC, tights Nine West, skirt H&M, top not seen Banana republic, scarf? ( I can't recall), booties Payless .
