Where the Magic happens Vlog!

I woke up this morning to catch up on the news of Hurricane Irene and decided that today is going to be one of those days where I just stay home and relax . Well my kinda relaxing day consist of doing some laundry "oooh how I love doing laundry "......and I mean this! I love the fresh smell of laundry when it comes out of the dryer, too bad we can't hang clothes outside not allowed in our neighborhood or your get a letter that says blah blah blah in the mail. They have a group of spies that have nothing to do to just check out what it is wrong in your yard and then they pictures and send you letter,  some people have nothing better to do!

Other than doing laundry I am making some news jewelry, like the new ring I made from a button, I think it came out pretty cool the only thing is my fingers were glued together from using the bead fix after that I am working on getting rid of the glue.

Inspired by bright Colors; Fuchsia, Orange and a hint of Chocolate.

Today's outfit was inspired by three gorgeous finds on the Etsy page. I wanted to wear a bright colored in my mind a happy outfit cause it's Friday. I found this Tunic last year in either Marshall's or TJ Maxx , it is 100 percent Silk and I know for sure I did not pay a lot for it. I like the embroidery on it, it has like an exotic vibe to it. I paired it with golden accessories , chocolate brown watch and ankle strap shoes.

I like taking pictures both inside and outside, of course inside I'm in my safe environment and I can be myself and pose how I want, so today I got  to my usual spot and the mail man decided to park there and go through his mail so I wasn't really comfortable cause he decided to keep starring, so after 20 pictures. I decided to go home and finished it at home.
There is a lot going on this weekend,  High School Football, Concert in the Park, Soccer game,  Farmers Market early Saturday morning, and also an invitation to " My! My! My! a Very Vagrant Soiree , that one I do not know if I will be able to make  cause I just got the mail, we will see. I wish you a great and exciting weekend.

Stripes, Sequins and a dash of Rouge.

To spice up this outfit, I thought of using a bright color  maybe in a bangle or a bag but then I decided to just wear a belt and let it peek out a bit.
I bought the top and the pants last month on a my trip in Europe.

I wore this  outfit yesterday,  had to run a couple of errands and then I ended up having lunch at Vatica.  This is  a nice Indian restaurant where there is no menu they just serve what they cooked that day all vegetarian dishes, it was delicious and the owners were so kind to explain what the food was.
I have been experimenting with editing pictures and had fun doing the last one. Hope your day is beautiful:)

Inspriational Wednesday: Sunset I miss you!

One of the most satisfying experiences I know is fully to appreciate an individual in the same way I appreciate a sunset. When I look at a sunset...I don't find myself saying, "Soften the orange a little more on the right hand corner, and put a bit more purple along the base, and use a little more pink in the cloud color...'I don't try to control a sunset.

I remember waiting 30 minutes at the beach just to take pictures.

What's cooking?

I always decide what I am going to make for dinner a day before. But this morning I woke up I decided I wanted to make ribs for dinner. I know it's early in the morning and I am already thinking of dinner.
So for tonight's dinner I made Suculent Mango Tango Baby Back Ribs, Coconut Rice, Brocoli Slaw with green apples and toasted almonds, with a stone ground mustard dressing and fressh corn.

Today I woke up with energy to share with everyone do you need some??? I think  being in bed  at 10 makes the difference I slept like a block. For today I have no plans, cause my best friend is overseas so I have decided to stay home and just work on putting things up on Etsy. I wanted to be comfortable not your sweat pants kinda comfortable because I might end heading up to get grocery just to get some air.
