What I wore recently!

Since the kids have been away overseas, I have had more free time to do things around the house, I have been reorganizing, cleaning, enjoying the sun and the pool at times.
Today is one of those days that I really didn't feel dressing up and taking pictures, so Lucky me these are some of the pictures that I took recently but never blogged about.

Glass bead making class!

Yesterday I got to use my groupon ticket for a glass bead making class, I got to learn one on one with what I would call a master , she makes the most beautiful sculptures, beads and rings from glass. In one word Amazing. She has been doing this for 9 years, so I had to remind myself  "this is your first class they do not have to come out perfect". I got to play with the torch and make 5 beads, at first I was a bit scared of the torch but after a couple of times, I got it and I was loving the torch.

Nothing special, simply lounging. It's too hot to be at the pool so I stay inside munching on watermelon and enjoying the AC.

Vibram it's like being barefoot but better!

I bought new shoes in the weekend, I did not planned on buying them but after seeing everyone trying them on I decided to give it a try. I was immediately hooked, it is like having my feet on a yummy soft mattress, sounds silly. These shoes brought me back to the time I grew up on Bonaire being barefoot , playing soccer outside with my brothers yes barefoot.  I have been walking on them for the 2 days now and even went to the grocery store in them. I hope that once the Dr. says I can go ahead and return to therapy that I will be able to run in these, who knows maybe this is what will help me. This is the one I bought.
