My 2nd Favorite Season: Fall

Fall means to me , State Fair, Candy apples, Apple cider, the gorgeous colors of the leaves, sitting outside and sipping tea with my best friend, running in the leaves,  apple picking with family and friends, choosing a pumpkin, decorating the house, roasting chestnuts, baking pumpkin bread and more fun activities. These are pictures I took last year, I can't wait this year to go out and take some cool pictures.
Happy  Fall guys,

What I made today: Rings and more Rings.

soon to be listed in my etsy shop

This Infinity Scarf gives the outfit a little oomph.

A scarf  can be a simple piece of fabric worn around your neck , head , waist for warmth, fashion or for religious reasons. I have many scarves if you would took a peek in my closet you might say that I collect scarves. Whenever I am traveling I try to bring back a scarf as a reminder of the places I visit I should call it souvenir. I get them often as a  gift too. This one was brought back from Holland by my friend Joyce she had the special help of a friend in choosing this beautiful bright pink infinity scarf for me.  This black outfit needed a little oomph, and that is exactly what this scarf does to this outfit. It adds that pop of color to an otherwise a bit boring plain black outfit I might say.
I wore this to the Dr. to check out my toe and also stomach bug that kept me awake and shivering the whole night. Next time I will not choose Wendy's even though I am craving it........ I will take a super green juice.

The Dr. said I should wear tennis shoes and not these high heels.....

When it gets colder I wear my scarf like this with my jacket.

I love the way my pants hang

I gave my friend some Euro's that I did not use and  told her exactly what kinda pants I wanted, they had to be either dark colored jeans or black pants, they had to fall a bit low in the back She brought back exactly what i asked for isn't she the best.. This is one pair of pants that you will see a lot on my blog cause it is comfortable and I can wait to wear it with booties and boots in the colder months.
Yesterday here in Georgia the weather was cloudy but a little bit humid so i decided to stick with a see through breezy top and tucked them in these pants. I had to belt it at the waist or they would hang way low, no that is not the look I am going for. Got my car washed inside and outside and it never looked so clean:) Happy driver here. I have tons to do before tonight, I have to bring my favorite dish to an evening with Dutch ladies (klets koppen) translated would be talking heads, it's my first time going to this monthly event. I have to figure out what I am wearing too. Have a great day peeps.

Words of wisdom: The Power of a smile!

Smiling is infectious,

You can catch it like the flu.

Someone smiled at me today,

And I started smiling too.

What's cooking???

I tend to get inspiration wherever I go, if I do not write it down I will repeat it several times so I can remember it. Today I was greeted by a beautiful picture of a salad on the door of the North Point Mall.
I knew exactly what would be for dinner.

Caramelized Peaches with Salad

This is my own version.

2 Peaches (depending on  how many people you add more)
raw sugar
crumbled blue cheese
green salad mix
cranberries
red onion chopped
walnuts
sopresata
( A coarse salame dry cured and delicately seasoned with black pepper and garlic)

I washed my salad and put it in the salad spinning thingy:) then let it air dry, I cut my peaches and then added them in pan , sprinkle some raw sugar on it and then let it caramelized, After that I placed it in a bowl so it can cool of. I added crumbled blue cheese, dried cranberries,  sopresata, chopped red onions, and walnuts mix it all together and then I added the peaches when I plated the salad. You can eat it like this or use your own favorite dressing , the one I used was a balsamic vinaigrette. It was delicious and easy. If I can do it you can do it.

Loving my leggings.

I'm very proud to say that I did not stay in my comfy bed this morning, despite the rain and the sky looking grey. I wanted to get some errands done early ,especially when the stores open right away so I know I won't spent a lot time waiting in line to pay.

I started with this top I almost forgot I bought at Gap during the Summer, thanks to getting my closet organized I stumbled upon things I thought I did not own. I picked out the legging cause I wanted to wear some sorts of boots, the only thing is  I wish the top was a bit longer, but realized later when I was walking at  the mall. Next time I will do better. I don't think it looked that bad though.  The legging it self is made of a thicker material so it's  not those see through leggings you see many wearing these days. I bought this jacket at the consignment store last week I like when I find out that nobody wore it cause the price tag was still on it. That is what I am assuming...... or do people wear things with the price label attached but what about when they are about to  wash it??? ............. I don't have a clue.
Have a great evening, can you believe it is almost Wednesday already.

My weekend Recap!

Before I started typing I had to ask myself what did I do again???? Well on I stayed in bed till 11.30 and then cleaned the house with the help of my kiddos and put the laundry away. Made pasta for the kids, went out with to Loca Luna for tapas and some live music. This morning I made the kids pancakes, and later I am going to organize my silver findings. I stumbled upon the newest version of Love you Tonight by John West, I uploaded the original and the newest one, I kinda like both. I hope your weekend has been great and I wish a wonderful week.

This is what I wore for a night out.
