Custom Order!

Yes I take custom order, my friend Melinda asked me to make something for a best friend.
This is what I made. Hand crochet pearl bracelet and hand crochet ring using silver wire.

A peek into my day so far!

My day so far went like this:
I woke up this morning around 5.30 then made breakfast for my daughter brought her to the bus stop but the bus never came, .
Got a Green Juice for breakfast, started making bracelets for the Etsy shop scroll down and you'll see.
Washed my Hair , then dried it while watching a foreign movie.
For lunch I had a fruit smoothie, and then went to pick up my little buddy to take him to see a dermatologist. After that I went grocery shopping and got myself some yummy hummus and pita chips cause I was hungry. Made pictures of the bracelets and then of myself and then uploaded them on facebook and right now I am finishing the movie "los inocentes" based on a true story, about a  young boy who must choose between enlisting in the Salvadoran Army and joining a band of guerrillas. Ouch!!!!

I think I might have broken my toe or injured it in a way that it looks like it's broken. I dropped my big bottle of water that I use at the gym and it felt of course on my toe .......I wanted to scream as loud as I could but I was being watched so I had to hold it all in. Today I am sticking to sandals cause it hurts when I walk and I am staying home enough said! This is what I am wearing.

Interior Inspirations!

A couple of years ago I took a two year course on interior styling, I love browsing in books or online for inspiration. I stumbled upon this website click here for pictures and you do not need to understand Dutch in order to be inspired. My style is a mix of different things I stick to neutral colors for big pieces and decorate with bright things I find when traveling.  Cause I like to change things a lot during the year according to my mood.

Tuesday: Olive and Rouge!

I am in trouble right now, how do I start???? I always have to translate my thinking to English , I think in Dutch or maybe my native tongue Papiamentu.
Okay so yesterday we hosted a barbecue for 15 people, of  all the days it could have not rain, mr. Rain decided it was time to dump it all on Georgia,  we even had tornado warnings going on.  Thank God we were all safe spread all over the kitchen, the dinning room and of course the screened porch which was the place where the barbecue was so if you were sitting there,  you were in for quite a treat  of  delicious smell  of yummy shrimps, satay , chicken , sausages and included in that some smoke as well.
The food was good, spending time with  friends and family was awesome, I think we all had a wonderful time,  we even had a  one of our guest who was open minded enough  to try shrimp for the first time and the verdict ........... taste like chicken!.

So after 3 days that I woke up past my normal 5.30 am it was a bit hard to get out of under the covers this morning. It was dark, a bit cooler air the perfect weather to stay in bed.  Good thing was I already planned on running this morning and when you promised this to your friends you know you need to be there wheter you feel like it or not.  I must say I am really happy and proud I did 30 minutes non stop and then added 10 minutes more. I am coming back to running (since my shin splints)  a different way and using a minimalist shoes the 5 toes weird looking shoes that makes everybody smile, chuckle, stare or just courageous enough to ask questions.

This is what I wore later  cause what I was wearing after the gym was a bit heinous and not worth any pictures to document it.  I hope that so far your week is fabulous tomorrow is Wednesday this week is going fast already Yeah for that.
