Black Licorice and Oatmeal.

Nooo way  I do not eat my oat meal with licorice.  I could not decide on a name for this post, one thing though am loving this color combo, black and oatmeal.
This is another scarf I made during the car trip to Washington DC. So far today has been a cold day, I even saw a couple of snow flurries. For weather like this I always need a scarf that will keep my neck warm, I am not a friend of Mr. Cold, .....I am a true  island girl remember?. The boots came in handy, I had to help my neighbor chase her dog down the subdivision, well now I can say I can run in these high heel boots and  I am pretty good at it: Have a great weekend peeps.

Orange you Glad.

I am not letting this rainy and stormy weather take a hold on my day, I am  going to have my own private sunshine. Orange makes me happy, and this scarf makes me happy and proud cause I made it on the way to Washington DC, I did not have a pattern cause I do not know how to read crochet patterns them, I just crochet and see where it ends, this one came out super cool .
It is soft and keeps my neck warm not itchy at all.

The top is actually a dress but I tucked in and I love the black and white pattern on it and the orange scarf adds the finishing touch and a pop of color to this black and white ensemble.

Grey Skies!

Grey skies why are you lingering here for so long, let Mr. Sunshine please come out of his hiding place. It has been raining for 2 days now, on days like this I feel like a slug.
But I made a promise to myself that I would post pictures of what I am wearing.
I included also tonight's dinner. I Made a spinach salad with pancetta, red bell peppers, corn, toasted pine nuts, cranberries, avocado, boiled eggs and carrots. I had leftover filet mignon and rice, so I made the kids a fried rice with filet mignon.

Etsy finds: Me Time!

We all need Me time, with all the things we do during the day it is always nice to have some free time to enjoy a warm bath with some nice soap, a hot cup of tea, or indulge in a little piece of chocolate. My me time consist of a facial at home, a hot cup of green tea , warm bath and a book.  What do you do for your Me time???? I hope you take time for yourself, even 20 minutes count.

Somebody that I used to Know.

I love this video, it is awesome for sure. I finished a scarf this morning, but I think I might want to make it a bit more chunky and big so I am going to make a trip down to craftstore to get me some more yarn.
I am thankful for a massage I got today the lady that does my massage is amazing. Promise to myself: " I am going to do my best to do some outfit pictures this week"
