TGIF: Springbreak

I am heading out to Washington in hopes to see the cherry blossoms tree and to enjoy this beautiful city. I can't wait to use my camera more, dig in more into the history of this country and  gain  more knowledge while visiting museums. Hope your Spring break is Wonderful.

A new Day, new possibilities!

I just wanted to share with you what I have made recently. These were wire wrapped and they hang from Vintaj brass chain, I love working with brass cause it adds warmth to the pieces, some off them have already been added to my Etsy shop, the others are waiting to be officially named before they get to be on Etsy.

On another note I normally do not like to write too much personal stuff here, but I felt like saying today that sometimes things do not go the way we want or plan, but know that everyday we are given a new day, to breath, to walk,  to do awesome  things in life .

I believe that everyday we are given new possibilities in life, what are we to do with.

Me personal I love to make  random people smile, do you see those people that are always standing out at the corner of streets with big sale signs to lure people into a particular store. Sometimes it's hot or even rainy they still stand out there, I try to always wave at them with a big smile, I love the result cause many times they do not expect it so they always answer back with a huge smile, things like these make my day even better.

Wednesday: Tahari Jacket with skinny jeans.

This is one of my favorite jackets, the weather here has been kinda weird, a hint of chill in the air, gray skies, thunder and lightning in the early morning. I am feeling pretty good today, got to have my early eye check-up and I have been singing Bruno Mars songs almost the whole day. I am trying to memorize them, me and my friend Joyce are going to his concerts in less than 2 months,..............yeah I can't wait.

Monday Etsy finds: White.

The color White projects purity, cleanliness, and neutrality. Brides traditionally were white gowns, I have a white sofa in a room I called the Bonaire room where I can go too if I am a bit overwhelmed and of course doctors wear a white jacket.

Now that spring is officially here, I can't wait to where white. I have to confess that I have worn white before spring though, I am used that in the Caribbean you wear white all year long.

Dans le Moment

Yesterday we all got tickets to the Dans le Moment event at the High Museum of Art. It was night of beautiful burlesque dancers, delicious Parisian street food, and a little to loud musical performance.
I fell in love with the the tour of Henri Cartier-Bresson The Modern Century. Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908 – 2004] A French photographer. He is considered to be the father of modern photojournalism.

There is something intriguing to me about black and white  photographs. So yesterday I was definitely in my zone, my favorite picture was the one where this older lady was sitting all by her self and in front of her was a weight stand and vegetables on it. This picture made me think, who is she, why is she there, what is she doing, is she waiting on someone and more. I do not know the story behind the picture and could not find the actual picture on google images either............. bummer:(
