Friday Birthday

 

Today my youngest one is celebrating his 8th birthday.
After school we took him and his friend for dinner at his favorite pizza place. Sorry no outfit post today.

Black and Khaki Thursday.

Therapy went well yesterday, I thought it would be painful but not really. I have to repeat the exercises at home 5 times during the day with the cast I have now it is easy for me to take it off and put it on, if it itches or gets to hot inside.

I went this morning to Kohl's with my friend Joyce , she has never been to a Kohl's before. They always have sales at Kohl's but I was being really good today I got myself one thing, yes only one thing .... a Fedora Hat that fits my head. This one is made from straw. I might alter it a bit with a different color of ribbon and maybe at some cool stuff to it. Will share it if I decide to change it. But for now I am just going to wear it just like that.

Wednesday Therapy

I am starting therapy on my thumb today ,......I am kinda excited.
Not a lot to talk about, I am trying to get used that the kids are in school and that I don't have a lot to do. I folded laundry with one hand, cleaned the kitchen cabinets and now heading upstairs to get the clothes in the closet.

Tuesday White ensemble

 

I just got back from the dr. I got a partial cast that I can take off, YES .... I am happy for one part, the other part I still not so happy the reasons are I can't exercise so no Zumba for me , no swimming and it has been way too hot. (way too much complaining here.)

One good thing is that I will start my therapy tomorrow which I am looking forward cause I really want to get my thumb back. Things that are on my to do list after I get my thumb back,o make my sisters earrings and necklace for her September wedding in the Caribbean and also sew crystals and pearls on her veil.

I am praying that the therapy will go smooth and that the tendon will heal fast so I can get back to my jewelry making. in all of this God is good.

White Monday

It was a very early start this morning cause the kids went back to school. I decided to wear white cause it seems like it is going to be a hot one today. After getting kids on the bus I came back home and checked emails, called my mom and a friend the I took lots of pics and now I am sitting here and thinking .....what can I do next?
The house is quiet , the beds are made , the house is clean and with one hand in the cast I can not make any jewelry. So I will stick to watching some HGTV and Style channel for now, later on I am planning to go to lunch with my husband for some much needed sushi.

Sunday's Lucky dessert.

Yesterday me, the hubby and the kids went out shopping we spent the whole day looking for khaki and navy shorts for the kids. We scored after we visited more than 7 stores. You might ask do the kids like this running around ? No they were not happy, we had to bribe them with Rita's ice cream. They never complain if they are in toy stores.

Today I am getting things ready for tomorrow morning , school is starting and I need to figure out what to do with all this free time. Later in the afternoon I am going to indulge in my favorite dessert...... no it is not chocolate it is my favorite magazine Lucky. Be sure to get your September issue.. it has ton's of giveaways, the best of fall fashion and also a smart shopping special.
Have a nice Sunday. I am so looking forward to Tuesday when I get to see the hand surgeon, hopefully the cast might off, I am saying "might" cause I do not want to set my hopes way too high like last time.
