New Look I am sporting this weekend: All taped up!

Yes I am taped up with lots of places to go this weekend, this new look I am sporting thanks to my therapist will help heal my shint splints so for now I am sporting long pants, and jeans, noo shorts nor skirts for me otherwise I wll have to answer all the questions heading my way:)

This is what I wore to the Cinco de Mayo celebration at our neighbors Pub, it was a fun night filled with good music , yummy food and my very first shot compliments of the owner. What I ate the other day: Filet Mignon and homemade french fries.

This is what I had for dinner recently I love homemade french fries they are the best a lot of work but in the end it worth it Over the Fillet Mignon a peppery mushroom sauce, green salad with blackberries, red peppers, onion, pinenuts and shaved Parmesan cheese. French fries with curry ketchupp, or your normal ketchup and mayo cause we are Dutch.

Things do not seem like they appear!

That is exactly what is happening right now, you see my plan was to wear a cute skirt or a pair of shorts with sandals this morning. But it all changed after I left my therapy for shin splints this morning. I left with black tape on both of my legs, and it does not look fab. So I am kinda hiding them them under these skinny jeans. So for these couple of days I am sticking to pants to hide my ugly black.

What I made: New Jewelry!

I believe that making things with my hands, makes me feel less stressed, more happy, more at peace and relaxed. Today was a day that I rather spent in bed watching the Kings Speech, but I had to get up cause I had to see a dr. for the pains and aches I have been experiencing with my running. The diagnose is shins splints, I was already afraid to hear that one.

I have to take it very easy no running for now, I will start therapy tomorrow and maybe in two weeks I can resume things again. So right now with tears in my eyes I have to say Zumba I won't see you until in two weeks, I will surely miss shaking my bum in class, but I am allowed to take a spin class and machines. In all this I have to just remember that sometimes I need to take a break in life and  be happy and thankful that it was not worse than this. I will keep you guys updated.

Things I did this weekend.

I spent my day bare feet enjoying the beautiful weather in Georgia.
I tried Kofta for the first time at the Arabic Festival.
I bought a belly dance belt and I having been shaking my bum on this song the whole weekend.
I danced the night away during Queens day at Fado's
I had Corned beef and cabbage for the first time and I loved it.
