At first I was a bit in doubt if I would understand how to work with the software. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to Photoshop and Photoshop elements this is something you definitely want to try out. I must say though that is does not have the same learning curve as PS/PSE. In the beginning I was a bit confused on how to use it but after I made my first layout I was hooked. I decided to use the pictures of my summer vacation for this particular project.
Let me explain what was a bit confusing to me,. The installment went fast , the menus were a bit hard to understand. You have one sidebar on each side of the work area and an icon bar above it. I thought that they were the same. You can insert photos and elements from all three of them. But the left sidebar is more like a browser, while the control panel sidebar on the right side lets you customize everything. Like shadows, adding titles and text, adding music, create videos and more. Here is my first project, please scroll down for the give-away.
