The color Turqouise.

I stumbled upon these Turquoise earring while shopping and after I adjusted them a bit by cutting them a bit shorter. I love black in the winter and my way of adding some spice is by wearing colorful accessories like a belt, scarf or like this time these super cool feather earrings They surely remind me of the beach, yes were I rather be.

Today I am thankful for the little things in life......... just saying.

Welcome to Miami.

I have been gone for a long time... I know but I am back. I had many things to take care of before I left this past weekend for Miami. The weather was perfect nothing to complain about there. Here are some of the highlights of Miami. Things we did this past weekend, cheer all the runners, walked miles before we got a taxi, yummy yes super yummy food, nice apartment, play gestures, tapas, hamburgers, shopped, Starbucks but this time the service sucked for real, people watching, talked with random people, art, woke up to stinky early in word this was one to remember.

I was enjoying my cup of Licorice tea with Alain Clark singing in the background when I stumbled upon a beautiful song that I had to share with my readers. This song really touched me and give me a bit of hope that when I am feeling like I am walking in circles I can open a window to CHANGE.

Tomato Red and Tan.

The weather in Georgia has been rain and rain and more rain. The color Red makes me happy and a puts a big old smile on my face. I decided to pair these pants with a tan thin sweater and chocolate brown boots.

I am going to work on myself.

Like any human being I get upset with certain things, I do not like to vent on here cause this is not the place. But today I have decided that I am going to leave things that make me sad or disappoint me behind me, they have no hold me.

I am going to try to be a better person , I am going to listen, be open to new things that come my way, try out different stuff, be aware of others around me, be an inspiration to others, work on patience cause that is a hard one for me, take it slow and easy, smell the flowers, smile more.

I am feeling much better right now yes I do thank you for letting me vent...... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Black Licorice and Oatmeal.

Nooo way  I do not eat my oat meal with licorice.  I could not decide on a name for this post, one thing though am loving this color combo, black and oatmeal.
This is another scarf I made during the car trip to Washington DC. So far today has been a cold day, I even saw a couple of snow flurries. For weather like this I always need a scarf that will keep my neck warm, I am not a friend of Mr. Cold, .....I am a true  island girl remember?. The boots came in handy, I had to help my neighbor chase her dog down the subdivision, well now I can say I can run in these high heel boots and  I am pretty good at it: Have a great weekend peeps.
