Relaxing in Cadzand

Not a lot to blog about kinda late over here almost midnight. Today I went with my family and my brother's family to the beach, it was very cold though but in the end it was a lot of fun .

As you can see I am wearing my favorite trench coat (Inc), jeans Calvin Klein, necklace handmade. ( I bought some cool beads in Gent the other day) .More pics tomorrow.
We booked our trip to Paris today and are heading out that way on Monday.

A day in Gent

Happy Friday ladies, on wednesday the kids stayed with opa & oma while me and my hubby went shopping in Gent, Belgium. The weater is a bit cold here and I packed more summer clothes and of course the hubby said not to pack much cause we can always buy when we are over there. I did listend this time but I am regreting it though.

There is sales going on everywhere I turn, it is sometimes a bit overwhelming for me but Idid end up buying a couple of pieces and also saw some cute stuff that I have not seen in the US yet but I did not have the time to try it on, the thing here is that once you buy it you can't bring it back anymore so trying out things took more time , normally I take them home and try each in the comfort of my home and then return.

We took lots of pictures in Gent, it a beautiful town with lots of interesting building, castle and churches.

Today we are going to Breda to visit family and then barbecue with my schoolmate friends.

There is also a bit of shopping included, I am on the lookout for some boots.

If you are wondering what is in the window display those are all kinds of beer, of course the hubby had to take a pic of that.

Holland vacation

The flight from Atl to Amsterdam was pretty good, I am normally very nervous when it comes to flying because of an incident that happened when I was a teenager.
The kids were so happy to see us . We celebrated Edwin's birthday (the brother of my husband) by visiting an airshow in Belgium and then we hanged out at his restaurant with family and friends. We had a really great dinner of mussels prepared by Gert Jan the chef.
The weather here has been beautiful and warm for a couple of days, it is my first time visiting in the summer I normally always visit in Fall and Winter when is rainy, grey and no leaves on the trees.
We are getting ready now to go shopping in Belgium there is lots of sales going on and that makes me pretty excited.
Sorry no outfit post I have been taking pictures of almost everything but not myself.
Today is a rainy day we will see if we can get any shopping done. Thank you for visiting my blog, bear with me cause I won't be able to post like normally.

Sunday's wedding.

Me and my husband went to a friend's wedding on Sunday. I found a dress that same day after trying out I think maybe 30 dresses during Friday and Saturday. I found one in the afternoon before the wedding. I had trouble finding cause I wanted it to be conservative, it was for a wedding where 90 percent of the guest would be from the Adventist Church.
I ended up finding one at Macy's.

My husband ended up winning a male beta fish that was part of the center piece.
The dress was made in Oman and a friend of the bride brought it a couple of day's before. Wish I could have share more pics but it was hard to take pics because of the lights at the reception. Hopefully you already enter my Jewelry Giveaway. I am so excited, I will be picking the winner tonight I can't wait.

buy my brother something for his birthday

something for the in-laws they have been taking care of the kids for more than a week now.
