Lookbook Saturday: Noche Buena Celebration

Today I went to a noche buena celebration at my church for the Latin community. It it a annual party where every Latin country represented brings a dish to share . Although I am not latin but I speak spanish fluently without a accent , so sometimes people think I am either from the Dominican Republic, Panama or Brazil . But in reality I am dutch:) I brought a rice dish my husband made it was Indonesian that is one of our favorite rice dishes packed with lots of vegetables.

Lookbook Friday: Another skinny jeans look

Hooray for Friday!!!!!. It is another skinny jeans look for me. I got this  pair at Banana Republic and it is super comfortable, I have been looking for a darker wash but could not find it anywhere. I went shopping with the hubby and he got some jeans and shirts.
I did not do a lot today, I spent the morning promoting my Etsy shop and then went shopping with my friend she needed a boots to go with a dress for a Christmas party.

What do you have planned for this weekend?
I have to drop my youngest to a Christmas choir rehearsal, then help decorate for a Latin Christmas party . Sunday I am going on curtains hunting.

Thursday Lookbook: Skinny Jeans

I love skinny jeans, they are so comfortable and I have maybe 5 of them in grey, black, darker wash etc etc. This one is from Old Navy.
I have paired it today with a grey Tunic that has a string on the side you can make it shorter or longer , today I am wearing it shorter.
It was a cold day so the jacket really comes in handy. Flat boots are more comfortable when you are running around doing errands.

Hope your day so far has been great, I went to my dentist to make an appointment today but instead I ended up being treated right away for a filling. I was glad that the lady told me to get it over with cause , otherwise I would wait longer. My fear is of the needle not exactly the needle pain no it is the way that my mouth is open and I think I can breath , I know it is my head, next time I am gettin some meds to calm me down.

What I made today

Just wanted to share with you what I made today, I sat on my comfy couch and worked on this necklace for an hour. I use a variety of beads that I crochet with beading wire. A mixture of red beads in different shape, texture and finish.

Wednesday Lookbook: Black sweats and boots

FINALLY ..... I own my first pair of sweats, remember when I told you guys a couple of weeks ago that I did not own any pair of sweats. I found these comfy black ones at F21 like a week ago. I paired it with a black cami and my long cardi which became my favorite thing to wear these days. I tucked them in my boots and added a scarf and off I go . Next time if the weather permits I will be wearing them with high heels:)

I am wearing: sweats F21, scarf gift from the hubby, boots DSW, watch: Burberry, bangle (used to be copper but I soaked in jewelry cleaner for it to have this silver color, earrings handmade.

Where:  to lunch with my friend Joyce, (we both are addicted to their tuna sandwich), after that we stopped at Borders where I came out with two books, and grocery shopping.

Hey there, hope your day has been a great one. I have to confess I did nothing today other than being on the computer. Kinda feel a bit guilty today. Well I was not feeling fit this morning.

Monday Lookbook: Short and leggings

Dialogue between me and my daughter. while I am trying to take pictures today.

Today has been a rainy, grey very dragging day for me, I guess coming back from waking up last week at 9 am and just laying in bed being a bit lazy. I had to get used again to waking up at 6.30. I woke up later I mean 30 minutes later so thank God for the hubby who helped me by packing lunchboxes this morning otherwise the little darlings would have missed their bus.

I went shopping with my friend and she got some cool boots for really good deal at Kohl's , then we went to Michael's where I scored a Wreath at half price for in the Living room. After a much needed lunch we took a trip to Costco, 1 hour later and $100 spent we went back home.
I made red curry for dinner, and lit a candle I picked up at Pier I.
My jeans were wet from all the running around so I changed into this outfit , a NY City t-shirt , leggings , short and a cardigan. I added a belt and a cool leather studded bracelet.
Now I have one goal to go to bed early tonight so I can wake up early tomorrow. Have a great evening.
