On Vacay .....Island style

We arrived safely in Bonaire, it is beautiful, love where we are staying.
I saw my parents, both my brothers and my sis and her husband. The kids and the hubby went to the pool to cool off a bit while I organized everythign neatly in the closet, I am a perfectionist some times.

Three Generations!

Wondering why we are standing with a newspaper? There is a contest that goes on the island that if you take a picture with the Bonaire Reporter that you might have a chance to win at the end of the year. It did not snow today, this picture was taken a couple of weeks ago while my mami was visiting, it did snow and we thaught it would be cool to take a pic in the snow.

 

Color Palette: Beach Neutrals.

I am heading with my family to the Caribbean in a couple of days. This means packing light, which brings me to choose specific pieces I can style differently. On my inspiration board, I have neutrals, white, color of the sand beige, grey and black. I will eventually throw some color in my luggage too trust me. But for now I am sticking to soft colors. What do you think of these colors?

Tuesday Lookbook: Skinny jeans with a touch of Red

I got the skinny jeans at Banana Republic yesterday with my friend J, we both bought the same jeans we do not mind cause we will style it different. The new skinny jeans is different than the other one I bought last December, I had to go one size up cause the sizes are a bit smaller than usual. Other than that they fit well and are really comfortable. I am wearing a black camisole and a black sweater, I added a bright red belt so it is not your usual black and skinny jeans.Have you noticed I am wearing open toe shoes, yes the weather is getting warmer. Hooray for warm weather.

Monday: In the mood for Turqouise

I can't wait till Summer is here, the inspiration behind this bracelet is the beautiful Turqouise Waters surrounding the island I grew up on........ Bonaire truly a beautiful unhurried, unspoiled and unforgetable island. A mix of greens and blues hand crocheted with bright string wire.

 

Sunday's Design: It's Pink!

My mom left yesterday after spending a month with us, I did not cry this time cause in a week I will be spending springbreak with my family in Bonaire. The kids wanted to go to Disney but we have been going every year and we were getting a bit tired of Disney . So we booked a week ago and we are going to stay at a super cool house.

I only made a couple of things for my mom while she was here, and I did not have time to make anything to sell on Etsy, I mostly spend time with mom and the family. Today was a lazy Sunday in our household, my husband watched the F1 Race on tv, while I made french toast for us . After that I stayed till 5 in my pj's , it was a rainy day today so I decided to make something new. A variety of pink beads of different shades all come together in this hand crochet bracelet. I think it is the perfect piece for spring what do you think??? Have a great Sunday guys.
