Layering: Black and Grey
Look at the bright side of things, that is one moto I try to live by. It's been raining since Midnight, pouring like crazy. I decided to wear layers cause outside looked like it was cold and I kinda dislike bulky jackets.
I layer enough pieces that when I was out I did not have button up my Trench coat. Sometimes when it rains like this my instinct is to stay in bed, or just read a book but I had to run errand, so there comes the need to pick an outfit that is easy and fun.
I got some emails asking me about the extra thing I did on Monday, I got to be an extra in the movie Joyfull Noise with Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton, and the best part is I got to sit next to my two friends. We were seated 10 feet away from the stage so it was nice to see both celebrities in person. It was a long day but today I have to say that my energy is back.
Take time to smile, do it often!

Be thankful even for the rain!

Sunday Etsy find: Yellow Green a new beginning!
According to Panetone the designers were thinking of exotic destinations like Africa, India, Peru and Turkey as inspiration for spring 2011. Need to escape somewhere??? This color will transport you to foreign lands for sure.
Today I have been searching for thefresh color yellow green also called Peapod. This colors brings an organic touch, it's a color that signifies change and new beginnings found in Spring. Here are some of my finds for this Sunday.
(I normally have my etsy finds on Monday, but because I will be working as an extra in a movie I won't have time to post)

Photoshoot number One
I recently got a Canon D7 as a Valentines present and has ever since been playing with it.
Today was such a gorgeous day to shoot. My friend S. was kind to volunteer as the model for today's project. I pulled out some clothes and let her choose what she wanted to wear. I wanted her to be comfortable and the most important thing I wanted her to be herself .
My assistant for the day Joyce drove us around and was the one holding the hats, the jewelry, the scarfs and the glasses.
The model was easy to work with , I didn't had to tell her a lot.
Here are some of the pictures......... from my very first photoshoot. I have to confess I took approx. 420 pics.A big thanks to S. and Joyce you guys rock, thank you both for letting me play a bit:)
