Sunday:Scarf become a vest

My favorite scarf become a vest for the day. I got this as a gift from the hubby , I saw it on our Anniversary trip in one of the H&M stores on display. After a day I went to get it , and guess what it was gone. I know I have a wonderful husband cause he went to 4 H&M to make sure I get it. When it is very cold I wear this with my leather jacket it is chunky but soft sure to keep you warm. I am still waiting on someluckydog to contact me with her info, I am going to wait two more days if I do not hear from her I will have to choose another person.

What I made today: Severina Necklace

Last day for the giveaway folks

This necklace is to celebrate the love mothers have for their children. I named it after my mom, to me she is the best mom in the world . Like I said before I talk to her at least 7 times a day. She is a very caring, loving , creative, giving, strong , awesome and a spirtual person. Although I only get to see her once a year, I know that whenever I am sad, feeling blue  or homesick I can pickup the phone even it is 3 am in the morning and she would be there for me. I feel blessed that God has handpicked her to be my mom.

Tomorrow is her birthday and I want to be the first one to say : Mami masha pabien , hopi ana mas i Dios su bendishon. (ok translated , Happy Birthday Mom, wish you lots of years and God's blessing).

Wednesday Lookbook: Layers come in handy.

Hola, how are you doing on this Wednesday? Thank you to all who already enter my giveaway, if you did not enter you have until Friday.

When it is cold like this I put layers to a good use. I waited 2 weeks  so I could get out and buy a new jeans at the Banana Republic. I get 40 percent off coupons for every week but on a certain day in the mail.  I tried a couple of jeans, skinny, boot cut, curvy and (if you are new follower, know  that I adore  Banana Republic jeans and most of all my jeans are BR brand) the trousers jeans. Original price $89.50 but with my coupon I saved $35.80. So I paid $56.92 for this jeans it is from there newest collection of jeans.  So in my goals I already said "buy only when I need", but this was already one of the purchases I had planned before my goals,  I was going to get it before  Christmas but decided to wait. Good things come to those who wait:)

Another thing is that I got  my packaged from WickedSoaps in the mail and I am thrilled, I am hooked on the brown sugar fig scrubs  . I ordered another scrub and soap. The scrub I have been using is smells awesome, and makes my skin feel smooth and soft. I am happy when I get things like these in the mail .

Tuesday lookbook: Sharing Love.

Hey there, how has your Tuesday been so far? Anything you might want to share? Well I woke up way to late, and I am supposed to be training myself to waking up early cause kids are going back to school  tomorrow.  My friend took me and the kids to Starbucks and made a  stop for us  to make some pictures in this frosty cold weather. My son decided he wanted to try something new,  Apple Caramel Spice drink, he changed his mind after his first sip. In his own word "it seems like I am drinking an apple pie mom". The nice lady behind the counter made him a pumpkin spice for free. This only happens in America, I am happy that I live here:)

This is me and the youngest one, playing around this is how we are at home. I hope we always stay like this with a playful spirit.

So 2010 is here and now what??????? Many goals !!!

Today I forgot to take a pic of what I wearing, so that's why this collage of the different faces of me.
I want to share my goals for 2010 with you. These are not in a particular order.

My goals are:

1. Spent more time with my family

2. Get back to the Gym and start back with Zumba ( I have not been for 5 months remember the  time I cut the tendon in my thumb)

3. Learn a new language, I started last year with Italian but did not finish , need to pick it up

4. Study the bible more, grow in my faith

5. Continue with creating jewelry and start selling outside the US

6. Volunteer

7. Smile daily

8. Continue to smell the flowers

9. Be a listener

10. Continue Blogging

11. Compliment random people

12. Be an inspiration to others.

13. Talk less on the phone with my mom (this one is hard I talk to her like 7 times a day , I need to talk less and only once "Make it count". You would not believe my phone bill (overseas only)

14. Only buy what I need (last year I did not do good on this one)

15. Make new friends

16. Get used to new things, get out of my comfort zone more.

17. Learn that not everything has to be perfect

18. Visit the sick and old (this has been on my heart for a long time, I hope that this year I will have the opportunity to visit a Nursing home and visit with the elderly.

19. Eat Healthy,

20. Quiet time

Sunday Lookbook : Bracing the Chill

We woke up to 24F degrees this morning, I decided to stay in my yummy bed, check my email, browse on Etsy before heading out to Costco. After Costco we stopped at Macy's cause hubby needed some dress shirts and ties to go with his newest suit. We treated the kids to hot chocolate at Starbucks, and I stopped at Victoria Secret and get some of my favorite stuff on Sale.
