Photoshoot number One

I recently got a Canon D7 as a Valentines present and has ever since been playing with it.
Today was such a gorgeous day to shoot. My friend S. was kind to volunteer as the model for today's project. I pulled out some clothes and let her choose what she wanted to wear. I wanted her to be comfortable and the most important thing I wanted her to be herself .

My assistant  for the day Joyce drove us around and was the one holding the hats, the jewelry, the scarfs and the glasses.
The model was easy to work with , I didn't had to tell her a lot.

Bonaire part two!

These are some of the pictures I took while on vacation in Bonaire. I have not taken many on this trip, I think it was because it rained 2 days on and off and I did not feel like taking the camera with me.

My Etsy finds: searching for the color pink and coral rose.

Spicy, gregarious and persuasive this is how the color Coral Rose  is described in the Pantone 2011 spring colors.

My one week vacay in the Caribbean  went fast, I was glad that I returned to spring like weather here in Georgia. Even though it is a grey Monday , I think this color has a certain sweetness, a pick me up feeling cause I really need it this morning , I must confess it was a bit hard waking  up too stinky early this morning.  I thought that pairred with neutrals this is a color that will  add a delicious punch to any outfit. Taking it easy.

Internet is still a problem here on the island. So far it comes and goes. I manage to take a picture of this bird who was really cooperating with me and tried many poses.

Views of Bonaire: The Divers Paradise

Super happy to be able to have internet access, cause it has been 3 days now without interne. I am enjoying my time here with my family on the island. I am taking it slow, laying by the pool or beach, counting all the boats and ships that pass by, watching some local tv, reading magazines and books and eating gelato at night.
