Saturday project: Bathroom Makeover!

My bathroom downstairs used to be like a faux Orange Tuscany inspired color. But after a while I do get bored and wanted something new. I do not think I have shared this before but one of the things that I love besides fashion, creating jewelry and photography is decorating and organizing. I love styling interiors I took a 1 year course of interior stylist but have not done a lot lately with it. So I decided to paint my bathroom a realist beige color and got a new mirror, bath rug, towels and hand pump soap dispenser at Marshall's. The hubby got new fixtures in a nickel color. Instead of a light color wood I am bringing a dark chocolate wood color in there. I am trying to incorporate more soft colors that will remind me of the beach and island living. Now off to take a much needed break, will finish things tomorrow. Hope your Saturday is a great one.

Friday creativity: what I made

I cleaned and organized upstairs in my work room and after that sat down for a break at my desk and work on some new jewelry for my shop. I have been inspired by the color gray, especially staring outside my window, the skies are a nice tint of gray....hopefully we will get some snow I have been wishing for months now:)

Thursday look: Black and Gray

Live is never the same when you are you used to your computer, the internet and all the stuff that comes with it. My computer battery died on me yesterday so it has been hard to just function. But today hubby got home and he got me a new one.

This morning I went with my friends and her parents to a spa where we got pampered with a diva pedicure for the ladies it was amazing.
I am wearing: jacket F21, skirt H&M, leggings Marshal's, boots DSW, necklace handmade, a red bangle (?) for a splash of color to brighten this black and gray outfit.
I got another over the top award from fellow blogger Corie  she lives in Atlanta and have a really cool blog.  I had to answer a couple of questions. I have answered them here in an earlier post. Now I am going to pass this Over the Top award  to all of you cause you all inspire me. All I ask is what is makes you smile???

My answer would be my kids,  they brighten my day every time I see them.

Creative Wednesday: what I made today!

Today I has been a partial creative day, had some appointments in the morning and in the afternoon I calmed myself by making a new bracelet.
Green Opal is the focus bead combined with sparkly glass bead and Swarovski crystals.

Tuesday's Look: summer skirt with leggings

This skirt is normally  worn with a white tank and flip flop during Summer. In the winter we need to layer things,  skirt combined with leggings and boots to keep me warm during chilly windy weather.

How is your Tuesday so far?. Mine was so much fun, I spent some time today at my son's school volunteering in their Science Lab. Just finished dinner, today I picked a half rotisserie chicken at Publix and made mashed potato and sauteed zuchinni simple but yummy. Now off to clean up the kitchen before American Idol starts. Take care guys.
