Burnt Sienna and Jeans

Taking it easy today. Outside is cold and windy inside I am keeping myself warm with a cup of hot tea while making dinner. I bought this top a couple of weeks ago at Old Navy, the jeans is an oldie that I still manage to keep around. As you can see I went a bit crazy with pictures today, it's cause I am happy... I love jeans. How is your day so far???

What I wore: stripes in black and white.

I wore this yesterday I had to run some errands including taking care of my car. I went in for an oil change, but ended up having my car staying overnight cause something wasn't right after I drove back home, so I decided to return for them to look at the car again.

I heard that some much cooler weather is coming in, so I guess I can say bye bye to my sleeveless top and linen skirts and open toe shoes for now cause in Georgia you never know things might warm up again very soon. Don't forget to enter my giveway here.

What's cooking?? Mexican Beef Stew!

Whenever I am downstairs I have the cooking channel on in the background, well I have it on when I am making jewelry or doing any craft project. The other day this recipe caught my eye,  Mexican Beef Stew I had to try it. Well all I can say mission accomplished, the kids like it they thought that it wasn't that spicy.
This recipe had a lot of unusual ingredients like honey, Mexican Beer, 6 ancho chiles (I used 3 instead) and unsweetened cocoa ( I used raw cocoa instead) . I added some tortilla strips, some corn and bean salad, a little lime and cilantro when I plated it. If you are in the mood for some comfort food, try this one out.

Feels like Summer , but the leaves tell me a different story.

The weather has been hot for a couple of days, if the leaves were not turning in those beautiful colors, I could have been fooled that it's still Summer. I wanted to wear boots, but I had to stick with open toe sandals, a tank top and skirt. Well at least the skirt has a Fall vibe to it. I found this when I stumbled upon a new Thrift store, for under $5 dollars I took it with me and it had still a tag on it, lucky me.
Have a Terrific Tuesday guys, hopefully a little bit of chill will kick in very soon for me to wear tights and boots:)
