Here are some of the photographs I have taken so far.
I love taking pictures of everything I do not know which direction I will end specializing in at this moment but right now I am love working with studio light and natural light.

I choose my middle name Farrielle for the name of my business.

My newest venture....Photography.

I have always been passionate about photography, and I remember the days I would take my camera with my tripod into the woods and just take my OOTD pics. Well I have been lacking to write cause I have been working night and day on my photography website and Facebook page, I had to come up with a photography sheet pricing, my rules etc etc.

I can't remember when it all started but I know for sure that since I had my first child I would always document what was happening daily, I believe it was because we moved away from the islands to Amsterdam and since I didn't have my family over there with me I would take pictures, develop and sent them back to my families. It might also been because growing up I wish I had pictures of myself as a young girl just to see how I was,  I know I have seen one when I was a baby and some when I was 7  to 12 years old.

Below is the picture that started the new fire, the new venture. I didn't plan  for this but it all fell in place, the light was good she gave me just a smile and look at those freckles isn't she just beautiful.

Taking a break!

Let's put it this way it is not that I lost interest in blogging not all I  think of blogging almost every day that I need to pick up. But things have changed in my neck of the woods.

I started a food blog also, which is on a hold right now since I decided to take photography a bit serious. 

So right now I am putting everything on a road and assessing which way I should go with certain things.

Things we eat and drink these days/

Let me start by saying I have been seriously contemplating about starting a food blog. I love cooking and trying out new recipes. I love feeding my family yummy food. I love styling my food so I am in the process of picking a name..... will let you  know as soon as I have everything ready.
Here are some of the things I did make this past week.

I have a pineapple sage plant in my herb garden, I saw a recipe for a iced tea on Pinterest and decided to give it a try. The kids says best iced tea ever.

the hubby makes his own french fries, we had it with fillet Mignon

lunch for the kiddo's home made pizza baguette

melon caprese salad, with mozzarella , basil and prosciutto

making something from the island "chicken stew"

Weekend Trip: Winery in North Georgia

A week ago we took a trip to a couple of wineries in North Georgia, it was quite an experience. We visted FrogTown Cellars and the Three Sisters, we were supposed to visit a third one but what happend was that our limo broke down and it took them 2 hours to fix it.

I tried dessert wine since I like sweet wine instead of dry white wine. I bought 3 bottles in the end and can wait to open them soon.

I got food on my mind.

I don't know what it is exactly but as soon as I wake up in the morning I am already thinking what I will be cooking for dinner. I love putting together a colorful plate , I love the combination of different textures and fresh herbs from the garden. But what I love the most is when I hear "this is good mom".

I think what is going on in my brain is that I have a inspiration board growing in their. If I am going to take pictures of dinner that day, I like to plan ahead by buying groceries the day before, I start cooking around 2 so I can take pictures before we eat. I love using natural light so I take all of my pictures outside in my screened porch for the background I use wooden boards I have, you can use a cheese board or a cutting board too.
