Breaking Rules.

Who made that rule about not wearing white after labor day.... I just wonder. It's hot outside and still feels like summer so I will be wearing white until it starts cooling down. I feel like a taxi driver cause today I drove all the way to school and back times 3.  A glass of bubbly gave me the spa moment afterwards.

I went to Opulent in Roswell for lunch, I love that they purposely put the fork and knives on the wrong sides of the plate. The food was good, I share a the mussels with my friend and then we each had a salad with grilled shrimp and for dessert we had the Panatone ... delicious.

To the Max.

I have a secret love affair with TJMaxx I always find something there, like this maxi dress from Max Studio on sale for $22 original price $138. As soon as I saw it I was like I need this, perfect for now and later with scarves and a denim jacket when the weather gets colder, handy for my trip to the Caribbean in a couple of months.

I am heading out in a bit to the Art in the Park event and might take a look at the Dragon Con event happening in Downtown.

Denim Cutoffs and Polka Dots!

When I saw that the link up at the Fashonista Next Door was going to be denim cutoff I was more than happy. So I bought a pair of Lucky Jeans at the Consignment Store and made it into these shorts. It was very easy I used a pumice, a cheese grater and sandpaper to make it look like I have worn this for ages.
I am glad that I am part of the Fashionista Next door link up this week go and check her and the other bloggers out.
On another note, I am happy it is Friday cause that means Movie Night. Have a great weekend you'all.

Dressed in White.

Today was one of those beautiful day's , the sun was out, light breeze, good company and a yummy lunch in old Roswell.

I decided to wear all white and combined it with browns. 

I bought these glasses 2 weeks ago, I love this shape and that it has the golden rim.

I can't wait to share a yummy summer salad I put together today for a magazine in Holland.

Mellow Yellow.

This is what I wore on Tuesday, but decided to post it today cause on Tuesday I share with you what my daughter wore to school.

I had to wear a jacket with this one on the way to the grocery it was a chilly day for sure, it seems like the whole week it's going to be cold. I guess Mr. Cold came to stay. We have been lucky that November and the beginning of December has been very mild, with the high being 75. My rose bush was in bloom, and the daffodils at my next door neighbor were sprouting they must be so confused.

I found this Tunic while vacationing in Hawaii, I love that it is a bright color cause I tend to wear a lot of dark clothes in the winter. A hat came in handy because of the windy conditions.

Now it's time for a cup of tea have a great day.

Saturday Maxi

I am thankful for my awesome husband , he is such an amazing person. When he is shopping online for him self especially on Banana Republic, he will always ask me if I need anything. He saw a beautiful black maxi dress I think it was 130 dollars, I like it but did not want to spent that much for it. I need to still buy my dress for the wedding of a friend in 2 weeks, and also I need to have a long dress for my sister's wedding coming up in September. I want to splurge on those more than the maxi dress.
So i said no do not buy it , maybe I will find a cheaper one.

Well my neighbors surprise me this morning by taking my kids for a hike so I had plenty of time to stop and browse at some stores on the way to find a swimsuit well the top part, I like the bottom part (VS) but did not like the top.
First stop TJmaxx, and guess what kinda similar dress hanging out there waiting for me. I tried it on and like it. As you can see me grooving in those pictures I am happy cause I scored a deal.
